Got it I think

So I figured it out. I went back into the clutch pack and noticed that the FACTORY SERVICE manual picture and written description was a bit misleading. In the attached pix, you think the arrow pointed towards "g" is towards the motor? Nope, they are on the end that the plate with springs goes to. So when you do your clutch replacement be mindful. Take the two fiber plate and metal plate that fits the plate that the springs go onto and they go on last.

Hope that is helpful, cant try the clutch at the moment due to this is a track bike conversion and the sun is set. Hopefully, tomorrow.

I just want to say thank for all the responses, you all are more helpful/responsive than some FB groups.
