How about just the simple fact that the gov't has no right to tell anyone they have to wear a helmet (or seatbelt)?? Before you know it, the Nanny State is going to be telling you you
have to wear a 1-pc racing suit to ride, and you have to have a full roll cage in your car. Then you'll have to wear your helmet just to walk down the street. Then you'll have to walk around looking like the Michelin man in your protective suit 24/7, even in your own home.
After all, it's for your own good.
