and I bet the gauge is the problem not the valve..... the reason I say that is
the gauges themselves have been bad for the last 20 years ....at least the cheaper ones have been they must have made a zillion of them and sold them to everyone that they could because they just won't go away !
doing the air compressor test will tell you if the gauge is accurate or not
i bet it reads about 50% low.......
just stuff the end of the threaded end from the tester into the air gun and give it a blast !
