yes there is definitely a power band on these things ! from take off the pull is moderate till about 5k and from 5k to 8k its strong , 8 or 9 grand in RPM then hang on tight it really pulls hard from there to 12k
..... their really something ,,,I just wish the little bike was lighter
at 350lbs it's fairly heavy for a 250cc !
.....it will take a while to get used to it..... it's not a triumph where everything is at low RPM and it pulls that way all the way to red line ! LOL

my new RX4 is the same,,, pulls the same from idle till redline no surprises in there, it just goes !
but the Ninja definitely has a power band. you can feel it kick in around 5 grand and she gets up and goes !
