I ride with an old fart who covers the rear brake, and doesn't realize he's pressing it down from time to time, even if only slightly. His damn brake light randomly pops on and off the entire ride, making him impossible to ride behind without getting agitated. He also goes through rear brake pads many times faster than his front pads, just from the excess drag.
