The only thing that I saw that seemed to be a pain with those is that they are connected to the bolt of your chain guard so obviously every time you do chain maintenance/cleaning you're going to have to unbolt that it seems.
I suppose having to clean the bike less isn't a bad trade off though.
Windshield looks cool but I don't have a bike yet so take my comments however you will
