Took off the back lenses and changed out a tail light. Not as bad as I'd feared it could be, one screw for the side plate and the lens came right out. Change the lamp, and the lens goes back in. I was pleased at how easily it fit back.
Then, of course, one has to take the bike out riding. The Snake in the late afternoon was lovely, almost deserted.
