We bought a 2004 with 250 mi that had been sitting for over 8 years, and after carefully cleaning/adjusting the carbs, completely draining the tank and adding fresh gas, replacing the battery, and changing the oil/filter it fired right up.

250 miles!?!? it must have still had the little "hairs" on the tire tread. Lucky find - I don't want to know what you paid for it.
