I never said you didn't wear gear. I never accused you of not wearing gear. I recommended wearing a back protector under your backpack. Dress for the slide, not the ride.

It's something you didn't mention at all other than being seen and many riders don't consider it until it's too late. The CE armor in your jacket really isn't good for much of anything other than slide protection for your back.

I know exactly what you meant by "safe". However, there are far more aspects to "safe" than simply being seen. I offered another aspect....for your safety.

Why so jumpy?
