Welcome! Do tell on the mods.... I see windscreen, some kind of change to the fairings (sticker removal?), rim stripes, levers and fender delete. Pretty much cosmetic stuff.

Since you opened with the "beginner bike" thing, a bit of advice from a much older and more experienced rider... stick with this bike for awhile. REALLY get to know it. The party starts and 9k rpm and it's a blast!
I started on a 650. Then I had a 500. Then I got the Ninjette and it was the most fun by far, especially once I started riding it hard. You'll hear that a lot from people who have had several bikes.
As you can see from the sig I now have a supersport... but will most definitely return to little bikes in the future.
