i spoke to a geico agent (i have them for my car) and they said yeah our bike rates are not really competitive, but we're working it, check back in the future when we review them.

i have progressive too, collision and liability. I pay about 260 a year for it, with 250/500 deductibles, respectively. It's basically worthless for claims though. They will just total your bike most likely, so it's either fix your bike yourself or scrap it and buy a new one. I got some cosmetic damage and they were ready to haul it away on a salvage truck without even looking at it first. I guess it's a scare tactic to keep you from claiming lol.

edit: they don't really charge you extra for customizing. at least i didn't get charged. they will even show you how much above "standard" each option costs or how much below too. every single coverage tid bit is broken down.
