Local grocery was out of rice and bottled water. And shelf-stable milk. Panic-shopping in full run. Weird. Didn't look for TP.
One of the things from psychology is that people will buy odd things out of the Need To Do Something. It may be irrational and unhelpful, but action is better than inaction. Apparently.
