You need software to convert key-code to cut codes for machine and many places don't have it. Surprisingly dealers don't have it either!

After I got master key made, I ordered new-gen style bigger key blank and walked up to SF Chinatown for lunch and had it copied for $1.09.
Critical step is to tell them to cut key from shoulder down so length will be correct. Some of these blanks are 1-2mm too long.
