I installed some cheap tank grips over the weekend. I had been having a heckuvatime with the Stompgrips on my SV for the last couple years; mostly with the edges of the grips coming up and catching dirt. I used multiple flexible spray-on glues (3M, Gorilla, etc.) to no avail and on a whim I decided to try Surfboard tape. They went on great and it actually makes for a nice look/feel. It's not as grippy as my Stomps were, but they are certainly sufficient. Total investment for these were about $15. I just ordered 8"x12" sheets of them and trimmed them to fit.
