Measure continuity across kickstand-switch connectors when kickstand up. Then wiggle kickstand.

also:

1. measure voltage at each coil's red wire
2. measure voltage going into ign-switch, white wire
3. key ON, measure voltage going into fusebox, brn wire

redo above while assistant shakes harness

.... more tests once I look up wiring diagram...
