SO.... I still have questions on this original petcock.....
it has no lever ...you have to use a screwdriver to turn the valve on it....
it has ON and PRI on the face of the petcock and I think there is no reserve on it..... just the two but I may be mistaken there I'm going by memory...lol
so the ON position means gas will flow when there is vacuum present at the diaphragm..... CORRECT ?
and PRI should flow gas without vacuum present is that correct ?

from what I discovered it looks like both positions need vacuum to make gas flow...... and that makes no sense to me ! why would they do that ?
there is no way to fill the carbs then if you run out of gas and then re fill it.
and that makes no sense to me at all you'ed kill the battery cranking it that long !
....
can someone please set me straight on this ?
