And from the looks of it - posts here and at advriders - general consensus seems that I90 would be better and more scenic.
So here's a revised route. (mainly Sturgis, Mount Rushmore, Devils Tower, and Yellowstone). I'll have to skip salt lake and colorado in order to keep this around 7-10 days
