I would agree that CNN has too much opinion and that Fox is misleading. I like NPR (they at least seem to let people talk when they have them as guests and try for reality).

I quit watching broadcast news in general some time ago when all I saw on Fox was scare stories and things that seemed to be made up entirely. They ran a story about people following GPS directions and driving into Lake Michigan, which the week before had been a plot on the show E/R.

Our local news stations weren't much better unless there was a breaking story locally. I'll turn it on during the fires, that kind of thing or if there's a good car chase but that's about it. It's all "you should be afraid!!!!" and I don't think that's either good or useful so I don't watch it.
