I agree with Salariel, sportbikes are just an evolution of the old cafe racers. As a young 63 year old, I remember cafes very well from when I was a kid in the 50's and 60's. They were cool then and they're cool now. I've got a few old Bonnevilles (67-72) and this thread intrigues me. Maybe I'll build one of them as a cafe. It'll be fun to scout out the fairings, seats, etc.
