Except for the greatest motorcycle racer of our time, and perhaps any time. Rossi often just looks down at the inside of the turn rather than looking ahead much at all. When asked about it, he says that he knows where the turn goes.
It's not like taking riding tips from people at that level apply in any way to mere mortals anyway...
