I just got a 2009 Ninjette and I noticed that there's a sound that comes from the gas tank when I move it

The sound is hard to explain

Is it normal ?

addendum ---- sorry i wasn't clear it is when the motorcycle is off and cold. and reading the responses i think it can be a pressure release of some sort...thanks for the comments.

i know i make noise when i release pressure :-)
