So, I picked up the 06 250R. I was wrong about the mileage, there are 7000 miles on it. I think I like seeing that number better than 2000. At least I know it was used, rather than just sitting in someones garage for 5 years.

The bike is very clean, looks very nice. Its black with gray accents.

I feel like it has a little hesitation at the low end. It could be that I'm just used to my 600, but I think it could be smoother. I haven't yet looked at a typical power curve for these bikes, but under 5k rpm feels sluggish, above that and you can tell the bike wants to move.

I'm going to give it a typical tune-up. Clean the air filter, change the oil, clean the plugs(the PO ran only 93 or higher, I'm expecting some carbon build up on the plugs), clean/sync the carbs, etc...

All in all, it seems like a nice bike. I'm hoping she will be putting her first miles on it this weekend.
