even though the swing-arm looks bigger, i would not be surprised if it actually weighs less. ive picked up a yamha R6 swing-arm which is even bigger i think, and it it was really light...!

as far as the riding geometry goes, it probably changes it by quite a bit, usually more aggressive/lower (yey... back pains, lol)

keep in mind, that these mods are usually intended more for the look than the "performance" although quite often i would imagine you would benefit from the higher grade shox and brakes if its assembled properly.

oh ya, depending on the wheels, they can also be quite a weight saver. i wouldn't be surprised if the aprillia rims weigh less than the original ninja rims, seeing that the RS250 is really performance oriented.
