SOME of you scoffed when we told you we'd used an acoustic tachometer app to establish the new Ninja H2
revs to 14,000rpm.
Well, eat your scoffs. The latest in Kawasaki's interminable series of teaser videos confirms a crankshaft speed - of 14,000rpm.
It doesn't add much else to the hype surrounding the new supercharged 998cc four-cylinder sports bike but it does say: 'Planetary gear technology found in aircraft gearboxes is used to drive the Ninja H2's impeller.'
Translation: 'It's got a supercharger.'
The 300hp track-only
Ninja H2R was officially unveiled last Tuesday.
Visordown was first with a picture of the 200hp road-going version,
the Ninja H2, which is due to be unveiled to the public at the Milan motorcycle show on November 4.
