Because it still has plenty of power on the flats and for those long sections of hwy it'd be nice to get the rmps a little lower when I'm doing 80mph. Plus
It'd also be cool to get my speedo to read exactly 1% of my rmps in sixth gear. I think to get the 1% thing I'd need a 40 but ill try a 41 first.
I do plenty of canyon riding and have never felt my gearing was to tall, hell I did the first two races at chuckwalla last year with the 42 still on it and just used 4th gear
