You need the 12v tender (we have 12v batteries). The 1.25amp charger would charge the battery quicker than the .75 amp would, if your battery was in a semi-discharged state. If you're using it to keep the battery in shape while it's not being ridden this isn't an issue. The 1.25amp is a larger unit and costs about $25 more. I have two of the .75 tender juniors and they work great. (this means I'd say get the 12v, .75amp tender jr.)
