just take out the diaphragm from your petcock. now its a no-vac petcock. remember to close up the vac hole or gas will leak out once the diaphragm is gone.

keep in mind though... with only the float valves, it is easy for the ambient fuel pressure to overcome these and flood the carb which floods the cylinder which gets a bunch of gas in your oil and ****s everything up.
