or rather, its 7 mm instead of 8 mm.

I use a urethane clear fuel line that is 7 mm and it stretches over the 8 mm barb with a little bit of heat so it wont be a problem. For people who have a problem with this, just buy the fuel filter that has a 1/4 and 5/16 stepped barb, hook the 1/4 barb to the petcock and the 5/16 barb to the carb.
