Yeah, there are many shops that rush and mess up simple procedures. Such as installing CBR250R (MC41) oil-filter backwards and destroying engine! You can do search here and find how-to guides for everything from adjusting mirrors to complete engine removal and rebuilds.

I'm just down street from you if you want to come over and help me with oil-change to see how it's done. Gonna change oil in my 2002 250, 2009 250R and 1986 VFR750F this coming week.
