Looks like everything is back up and running. I have noticed that with a moderate amount of users/guests online, the server load being reported seems much smaller than before. If this holds, it means that that the performance improvements are real. It also means I can cut back a bit on size of the VMs I'm using, and still see comparable performance, but there's no rush. Anything "slow" on this site isn't really coming from this site anyway; it's typically the ad pages or pictures hosted elsewhere, where the speed of the ninjette.org webserver/database itself is irrelevant.
