I think this thing already has pretty thin wires. I'm not too ambitious with the harness, just removing what I reasonably can.
You are right, a loom made from scratch would be lightest. I lack the pin tools etc for a Kawasaki.
I copypasted the wiring diagram to Paint and started making a colored version of it. My eyes hurt when trying to follow the black and white version.
