I dont have a clear plan about how to go about tuning this engine. I'd have ample time to take it apart, take measurements about actual compression ratio, piston to deck clearance, valve to piston distances, familiarize myself with the timing gear's possibilities and limitations.. see what the head is like and consider the porting/exhaust/inlet stuff changes from there.
