Taker your time and go through the bike. While you have fairings off pull the tank and valve cover and check valve lash settings. I have a pre gen which I am told is easier to set.

Someone on here will have an 08+ and be able to advise on properly setting valves, synching carbs etc.

Change fluids(coolant, oil/filter) and you're good to go!
