don't buy a new bike, buy one 1 or 2 years old. Save the money on stealership fees and all that crap, save money on insurance because you'll be insuring the older bike for what a new bike is truly worth once you ride it off the lot. The key is to get your experience in man.
p.s. if you have older hobbies that you accumulated stuff with, sell that stuff, do what ever it takes to get into biking. get focused - avoid as much debt as you can.
