Ok guys, now I'm really confused. The black footpeg I am referring to is not the passenger footpegs, I went and looked at the bike today. It is on the left side (I said right earlier because I was going off my memory) and their is not another one on the other side. It is a black, spring loaded metal circle footpeg, its a few inches lower then the pass. footpegs, near where the triangle brace is on the picture above.

My first thought is center kickstand. Its odd that these guys would think rear brake. Lol, im kidding. If its the black piece that comes right under the left exhaust muffler then that's what it is.
If not, then take a pic. Better then having everyone guess what it is.
