hello,
proud / scared dad moment,
just trucked home with an '06 EX250 for my son.

I've ridden / raced ( dirt, baja style )since i was 8 ish.

my son hasn't really shown that much interest, but I found this bike and he seemed to really want it, so i pulled the trigger!

$800 seems like a pretty good deal, it's under 6k miles, tires / brakes / fork seals all seem good, but when I got it home and did an exteneded test ride the carbs leaked gas. not too big of a deal i'll order a rebuild kit tomorrow, this will be a good 1st lesson on how to take care of your new bike for him.

anyway, I found this forum and thought I'd sign up, always can use tips on ; well - everything !
