INTAKE MODIFICATIONS: Snorkel removed and K&N air filter.

EXHAUST MODIFICATIONS: mmg header, ninja 300 muffler

JET KIT OR STOCK?: stock

Timing : 5* advance key, factory pro

MAIN JET: 98

PILOT JET: 38

NEEDLE AND CLIP POSITION: Stock needles shimmed with 1 washer .014" each carb

MIXTURE SCREW SETTING: 2.5 turns out for both

ELEVATION: sea level to 8000 ft
misc ran lots of sprockets, settled at 15/41 for commuting. went 14/41 for week end rides. mpg's aboot the same , low 60s . not into top end runs . installed a manual switch to turn on the fan on xtra hot days or big hill climbs. daytona temp gauge helped check water temps. mmg exhaust way to loud. 87 octane was 1st choice.
