Is there a Helicoil in the drain plug thread? That makes more sense than a spark plug thread if you found it in the sump stuck to the drain plug.

Jim, I will check next time I do the oil change. It’s definitely not from the spark plug area. Both spark plug holes are intact and “original”.

BTW to put the size into prospective that red tray in the picture is a cup from a 2 inch moly grease tube
