I thought the same thing when I volunteered to test out a new jet kit from sportisimoto that was made for the new-gen. Both bikes use the same carburetor but totally different jets internally. That detail escaped us and now I have a jet kit I need to take off my bike and give to a new-gen owner if they want it. So it's better to be sure of it before forking over some $500 for this.
