Thanks! It was a great winter project. As for the stock tank... for now I'm keeping it. I didn't cut the tabs or anything (again, no permanent mods - I can actually put the entire bike back to stock in an hour or two.)
But, if I could find a cool looking tank that is more cafe style I'd definitely swap this one out. I'm not sure I'm ready to try to make a tank out of fiberglass. (although I've read about others who have done it.)
