I would guess that you have your main jets and circuits clean, but the smaller ones are still clogged, so it’s trying to idle on the main jet. When you open the throttle, does it dies right away, or does it try and rev then die? Can you slowly open and get it to rev?

I would also double check all the vacuum lines that attach to the carbs. Did you split the carbs to clean them? If so you mad need to reset the throttle blades as well with some feeler gauges.
