My 2¢,

No need for premium fuel, just be sure it's fresh, also add some Seafoam

Also I recommend sending them to @ducatiman.

There are countless threads of people, whom keep messing with theirs, with no luck, getting mad, and most importantly losing riding time for weeks, and sometimes months.

He has been doing all my carburetor work for many, many years. He just doesn't clean them, he restores them. He has the proper equipment, and knowledge. I have the knowledge, but not the tools to do the job right, but no need to invest a lot of money in the equipment needed to do the job right.

I never discourage others from learning how to work on their bikes, but sometimes one must realize when they are in too deep, mostly is a lack of proper tools.
