Detergent levels in all fuels tend to be similar. Fuel's purpose is to combust. Higher-octane fuels tend to be more chemically stable, more difficult to ignite, making it less desirable as cleaner

What you want to use is product designed specifically to clean fuel-systems. Try some PEA-based fuel-system cleaners.
