The date is 4 numbers in an oval like "3610". First two are the week of the year (36th week) second are the last two digits of the year (2010).
That is pretty serious in my book. I wouldn't ride on it.

its the stock road winners that came with the bike, 3500miles right now. ill check the date when i get home, but id imagine somewhere around late 2012.
i didnt notice anything in the sidewalls and i looked pretty hard. i will double check when checking the date.
