I still highly doubt you're going to get a nice finished product to work with these with just shrouds... and removing a plate and re-installing the reflector is just as easy as unscrewing this from the reflective housing. The price is nice though, so if you're up for it, give it a shot and do a writeup. I'd be concerned that the projector will look tiny in the housing though.
