I guess it depends on the rubber quality and where is the bike kept.
My 1986 Honda Interceptor still had all original gaskets and rubber hoses the last time I used it in 2012 (26 years). It had 35k miles, not many. No leaks of any kind. Always kept indoors.
Even the brakes o rings were the originals.
Only carburetors o rings were replaced once in a while.
For me, if the gasket looks good, as in with no cuts and not dry, then it's good to go. Especially if it wasn't letting oil out before the service.
