Assuming that nothing else is wrong with you bike, running at those RPMs for long periods of time is perfectly fine. Its what sportbikes are designed to do. Thats the whole point of having a red line. If running below red line was harmful to the engine and thus would cost Kawasaki money in warranty claims, you could bet they would move that line down. You get used to the sound of the engine dont worry.
