I have had it since the season began so only about 4 months. But you can feel the quality. I researched my options and tour master kept coming up. It stays put in wind storms without using the center clip. I mostly just pull it over the bike, it stretches. The one I had from Walmart would blow around in the back of my truck when I left it there, this one stays put which gives you a bit of an idea of it's weight (Wasn't taken on the highway though).
With all the showers I have had it has yet to let a drop through. I even throw it over the bike after a long ride and don't have to worry about the muffler burning a hole in it, notes/manual says it able to with stand some heat.
I just throw it in the bed of my truck during the day and at the end take less than 2 mins putting it back over the bike.
