In the helmet I have can only really see the bottom lip of the visor opening, and even that only take a few percent off the bottom of my view. My peripheral view is unobstructed. The bike itself takes up little of my physical perception.

That is one reason I love riding motorcycles I can see everything around easily, and I like you am visually orientated so its one of the reasons I don't like driving large trucks or cars with limited visibility
