One of the most popular Ninja modifications is extenders that put the mirrors out just slightly to extend your sight lines. A few have said it it the most important mod you can do for your bike, as it really helps safety. Here is a thread on the
Motech Mirror Extenders, which look great and will alleviate this problem (albeit for some money). The are available at
